Henry Kissinger, former Secretary of State who is not known for mincing words, made another bold statement about war with Iran. Kissinger thinks that Israeli pressure on Obama, who is considered a weak president and is vulnerable to Jewish lobby, could be forced to attack Iran. Kissinger is known to have made this statement in Davos in Switzerland while attending the economic forum. He has also reported to have said that such a war if it takes place will be an iconic event and “will be a turning point in human history”.Kissinger was asked to explain as to what he really meant by that, but avoided being more specific. But he pointed out that for the last 12 years or so, the U.N. Security Council had been pushing Iran to renounce and accept a state in which it would open its nuclear facilities to international inspections, but the Iranians have always found the terms to place such an oversight as being unacceptable. Kissinger feels that the time is getting closer when the U.S. will either push for a collective effort in which some form of military attack would be sanctioned by the U.N., or the U.S. will find some way, along with Israel and Saudi Arabia to attack Iran. It is noteworthy that it’s not only Israel who has been pushing the U.S. to attack Israel, but rather the Saudis are also pushing the U.S. behind closed doors to attack Iran.
